what are the ingredients of Purina Tonus adult Lamb & Rice(or chicken & rice)?

Because of some ”money problems” maybe i’ll switch from eagle pack holistic to Purina Tonus.
I’d like to know what are the ingredients of this dog food(and if the first is meat),if u have any experience on feeding that to your dogs… :)

(i think i ‘ll make a combination of Tonus+homemade food…)

Thank u and i wish a happy new year to all!
Cheers from Greece!!!
I know there is dogfoodanalysis…but there is no review for Purina Tonus… :(
i haven’t bought the bag yet…i wanted to know first what are the ingredients…I ‘ll check it when i’ll go to buy… :)
i still want to know if you had good or bad experience on this food… :-) )

what do i need for a new guinea pig?

I might be getting a guinea pig soon so ive got a few questions
1.what things do i need for them (food,toys,etc )
2.can i make a homemade cage if so how.
3.can i make homemade food for them if so how.
4.how do i tame them
5.how do i take care of them

I am not aloud to buy the cage, but i was thinking that i could use my old dog cage it would be sterilized and i would add another level to it It has two doors, one on one of the big sides and one on the smaller side.

I am only aloud to spend money on food, toys, treats, and other essentials if you have any recommendations or sites that i could go on please tell

Thanx in advanced

Can I feed my rats a low fat dog food along with veggies/fruits and lab blocks?

I’m getting a pair of male rats today and I don’t really know what to feed them. I have read many different options of homemade mixes, but I also saw that many people feed their rats a low fat dog food that has between 16%-18% protein and somewhere around 4%-5% or so of fat. I was just wondering if it would be enough to feed them a dog food like this along with fruits, vegetables and lab blocks every day or if I should feed them something else.

Should I mix corn, peas, carrots and green beans in my dogs home made meals?

I’ve been making homemade meals ever since the pet food recall and I was wondering if those veggies are safe. Do dogs also need dairy and fruits in their diets. If so any suggestions besides cottage cheese my dogs dont like that. Thanks

What foods may be problematic for dogs?

I know there are a number of things, chocolate, grapes, etc., but are there any other basic foods that some dogs may be allergic to, or just have general problems with. Particuarly ingredients in homemade dog biscuits: flour, nutritional yeast, broth, vegetable oil, various seasonings, etc.
Any info you can give me pertaining to this would be great!

Market Day Question for 5th grader. Needs to be homemade and unique?

Hi,
What are some 5th grade ideas for Market Day? The kids have to sell an object that they make at home. It cannot be food such as cookies or popcorn but they can make dog or cat treats. The idea can’t be something like selling pencils or coupons or girl scout cookies it HAS to be homemade. It doesn’t nessicarily have to be easy but something that would sell well would be great! The best answer will get 10 points and ALL answers will be appreciated Please help!!

raw diet for cats?

What are the best things to feed your cat when putting them on a raw diet? Ground beef, ground turkey, chicken stock mixed with it? I’ve heard various things, but what’s worked best for you?

I’m switching my dog to a better diet, a homemade dog food diet–not raw– so I figure switching Sophie would be good too! I know raw diets are better for cats than they are for dogs, and I think Soph would love it. So what do you think I should buy or make?

My dog is wobbly, whats wrong?

FIRST OF ALL, I HAVE taken him to the vet 5 times over the last 3 months, but the vet is stumped.

Background:

11 year old Beagle
3 months ago started experiencing head shakes (reminds me of the way a person with Parkinson’s shakes).
The shakes are increasingly worse, but now his entire balance is out of wack. He cannot take walks for two long or he practically falls over. His appetite is below normal, but he will eat if i make him some homemade food (like meat, veggies, etc). Personality is the same.Bathroom functions are the same. No head tilt. No eye problems. Ears are fine. Teeth are fine. Blood panel came back clear. Doctor does not think it is brain cancer based on some neurological tests he did.

Vet thinks it could be myasthenias gravis (which he admits is a very rare thing.. personally I think he is trying to play Dr. House on my dog), I think it could be Addison’s. Neither of which can be determined by the blood panel. Both tests are about $200 and have a likely hood of not being accurate.

Before I choose which test to run, I would like to get some feedback from anybody out there who has seen this in a dog.

Thank you in advance.
oh and Ideopathic Vestibular Disease is ruled out

My yorkie-poo is puking up blood?

My 2 and a half year old Yorkie-poo today threw up some blood. He eats homemade dog food, which has a lot of fat in it. Is it the food? Is it something inside him that has blown up? He is fine now, and after puking it up he was running around like usual. His skin is it’s usual color, although sometimes it’s hard to see because he has black fur. Is he poisoned?
A lot of dog food is being recalled, and we don’t want to loose him by giving him bad dog food, so we just make it at home. My golden retriever died by having tumors, caused by a recalled dog food!!
What do I do? Will he do it again? It’s my mom’s dog, but she says that the vets won’t help…which is frustrating!!
He has thrown up blood, but we thought he had just gotten into the twizzlers!!
I can’t drive and my mom says she won’t call or go to the vets and that the dog will be all right. I agree with the vet idea but she will not listen and neither will anyone I talk to. Believe me, I would be there already if I could.
