does anyone know any healthy homemade dog food and treat recipes??

Trying to find Dog Food Recipes I can make for my dog who has High Protein level in his Urine. I have studied and seareched all the Helthy and Perscrition Dry Dog Foods. But all have a bunch of rubbish in them. I do understand they have to be certain ingredients to maintain the dogs diet but most have corn, poultry fat and flours in them which my dog is sensitive to all the fillers. Much help needed, Thank You.

I have a weimaraner that I switched from Nature’s Receipe that to Nutro Nature Choice Lamb & Rice ( dry and can food). She developed raised whelps on her back after the switch to Nutro. This happen to another weim that I had 10 years ago which was related to a food reaction. She does not like Nature’s Receipe so I thought I would Nutro a try. She loved it but it does not like her. I do know my first weimaraner was allergic to sunflower seeds. ( I know this from making homemade heathly dogfood!) I discovered tonight that Nutro can food varieties list Sunflower oil as an ingredient. I am trying to find out if anyone has this problem? Please respond! I believe Nutro is a good food. She sure did like it!

I’m dog sitting a dog, only for one day and overnight. His owner was in a dilemma and needed a sitter, she was also in a hurry and only gave me a bowl full of food. Now, this is a 4month old pit bulls puppy. He’s going to need more food than that. well, Surprise surprise, dog’s out of food. I don’t want to upset the dog’s stomach or anything. is there anything I can give the dog, like chicken with rice or anything as a dog food substitute. The dry dog food he’s used to is Ol’ Roy. (not the best…but haha.)
My mom isn’t home and I’m only 15. otherwise I would have gone out and gotten some food.
