He has been to the vet twice & the vet has done skin tests that came back clean & gave us antibiotics and sent us on our way. The antibiotics have done nothing for him. We have another dog (a Black Lab) & she is fine. We are getting them new dog food tmrw & picking up some cod liver oil pills. Is their anything else I can do to help him? Homemade conditioner? Anything!
The vet did give us special shampoo.

I am going to start trapping this fall and i don’t know what type of bait you use for fox but I found a recipe online for a bait made of dog food, peanut butter, and honey for coon bait. Preferably homemade baits. I am remarkably broke.

Well, I LOVE everything to do with business, but what kind of business I can’t figure out. Here is a but about me:
I love candy. Not so much eating it any more, but just candy. I know how to make homemade hard candy.
I love computers, mostly web design.
I like to bake/cook, and I was thinking about dog biscuits…
thats about it…
p.s. DOG FOOD IS DELICIOUS! SO ARE MILKBONES!
Well, I was not actually thinking about opening like a business business, but a home ran business. A SMALL business…
To the second answer:
Yes, I like the sound sounds of it. But, I am still not entirely sure.

i just adopted a dog and she won’t want to eat dog food, i was a little worried because she wasn’t eating but then i realized that all she wants to eat is homemade food. It seems like all they used to give her before was homemade food. How do i make her eat dogfood?

I have run out of dog food and was wondering what kind of food I can feed him that is homemade.
I have heard a lot about how cooking your dog’s food daily is better than bag food. I have been wanting to try this.
What should I start him on? He is a 125 pound black lab, 5 years old.
Thanks
We can afford dog food, I just ran out. I do not work so I do not go to town a lot. I went to feed him this morning and noticed that he only had enough for his breakfast. The local store (with dog food) is 1 1/2 hours round trip and I do not want to go today as I have to tomorrow to get my husbands check. No direct deposit!

I have a Pit Bull and a Great Dane. They go through about 50 pounds of dog food every 9 days. So every 9 days we spend about on a bag of dog food. I was wondering if it was cheaper to make homemade meals for them or just continue with the bagged food. I know that homemade would be better in general, but I am looking for just cost.
Does anyone know about how much it would cost to feed them? Just a general idea?

OK so my mom and i keep fighting over the fact that my mom thinks wet/homemade food is better. She says well i make it fresh ur saying fresh chicken and vegetables are not good?! and i say. I’m not saying that i’m saying that wet food is not good because it rots their teeth. Dry food has the same (I have Innova dog food) chicken, vegetables and all that other stuff. Plus, dry food is better for their teeth! My mom thinks dry food is bad so she never gives it to them. When i tell her that its better she will say, "well why is it that wen i give it to them they never eat it." i say back, "its because you got them hooked on this wet food and homemade crap!" I give up on feeding them because she is always switching their food. I like feeding them dry because it is simple and i don’t have to always get worried about going to the grocery store and having to buy all the vegetables and chicken to make their food. So in conclusion, is dry food better than Homemade/ any wet food?
BTW, the homemade food my mom makes is like a soup with just chicken and vegetables, something us humans can eat. but yea is dry food better than wet/homemade food? thanks for the help
