I wanna make homemade cooked dog food but I don’t know about all the calcium and other stuff for their needs?

Help!! From what I’ve been reading I need to make sure there is enough calcium in the food but dogs CAN NOT have dairy products. Some recipes call for yogurt but that’s a milk product. Also please help me with portion sizes like how much meat/chicken, rice, veggies, etc. Thank you for helping me out if you can give me more information that I should know it would be highly appreciated.

i have a 1lb teacup poodle puppy, and need to know how much food he should be eating?

Since the commercial dog food scare, i have decided to put all three of my dogs on a homemade diet. I have spoken to my vet about ingredients and vitamins and such…but there must be an equation that i can use to feed him. The other dogs are adults, and they will eat until they are full, but the teacup puppy seems to be extremely hungry all the time. Can anyone tell me how much to feed him?
i realize that “teacup” is not a recognized size…it was to explain how small he is right now…he is only 10 wks old and will grow to be about 5-6 lbs. i wonder if anyone knows some kind of guideline for the size of his meals….ie: maybe 3oz a day?…..because he is so tiny right now, i worry that i am not feeding him enough.
***and i don’t think i got “taken” when i bought him….i paid the going rate for dogs of this breed and he is a sweet loving little “teacup” size puppy.***

Does anyone know which dog food is similar to Nutro?

The cost of dog food is going up and my budget is very limited. I am paying 10 bucks for a 7 lb. bag, which I have no choice, as I cannot afford to buy a large bag at once. I have been feeding my dog Nutro since she was a puppy,(she is large breed adult formula now) but I need to somehow figure out to afford her food. I am still waiting for coupons from Nutro. Does anyone know which food in the supermarket is very similar to Nutro? I tried the Purina Naturals and all she did was vomit, even when I fed it to her gradually. I am getting the idea that she has a sensitive stomach. Does anyone have any “homemade” dog food recipes? I have been cutting her food with rice, boiled chicken and egg to stretch the bag.
I do know that you have to “cut” the new food gradually, but she literally started vomiting after three days. I never had good luck with Purina for my dogs or my cats. She doesn’t eat rawhide, pigears, or those greenies that are horrible for the digestive system. I keep her diet very simple as I had to deal with a dog that had collitis and was always vomiting.
I am already signed up with Nutro. As I stated in my question, I am waiting for the coupons. Buying bigger bags at once is not an option, because I am lucky to have the 10 bucks for the small one. So far, I like the flea market idea, but I haven’t seen this dog food at any I have gone to as of yet. I live in Northwest NJ.
